Your health and wellbeing is extremely important to us. In order to limit the spread of illness, indoor gathered worship and ministries, bible studies, committees, etc. are canceled until further notice. Worship service and other ministries are held virtually until we are able to gather together inside.
Parking Lot Worship Service
Sundays, 9 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church
If service is not able to be held due to inclement weather, members will receive communications by 8:15 a.m. via:
REMIND app: to sign up, text in the message area @92e866 to the phone number 81010
Before you come
Print the bulletin for everyone in your car or have them available on electronic devices. Link to bulletin is within the Virtual Worship section.
Bring your own elements for communion, bread or crackers and a small amount of wine or grape juice. If you are nervous about liquids in your car, bread alone will suffice; we trust that all of the gifts Christ gives us in this meal are present in each of the elements.
Consider bringing a financial offering for the ministry we share and some food to donate to Stocked Shelves Food Pantry.
When you arrive
Enter through the NORTHERN entrance if you need the bulletin and/or prepackaged communion elements (non- gluten free wafer and grape juice).
Enter through the SOUTHERN entrance if you have the bulletin and communion elements.
Offerings and food donations are also accepted at this time.
Find a parking space and park facing the church building.
Tune into the designated radio station.
While you are here
Please do not leave your vehicle unnecessarily.
Restrooms are available; masks are required when entering church.
Windows may be down during worship, but please wear a mask. When we sing, please raise your windows.
There are times in worship when it is appropriate to honk your horn, such as during the welcome and sharing of the peace. Don't be bashful, go for it!
When it's time to head home
Pastor Josh will bid you farewell.
Feel free to stay a few minutes in your car if you would like to speak with Pastor Josh or make an appointment for a visit.
Head out into the world trusting in God's love, ready to share the Bread of Life!
The following will remain open:
Emergency pastoral care such as hospital visits, death or other major life crisis
Virtual/digital Sunday morning presence
